Veterans Standard Operating Procedure (VSOP) is an independent educational service.

We are not accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and do not act on behalf of Veterans in any official or legal capacity. VSOP is not a law firm, and we are not owned, operated, or staffed by attorneys. All information provided through our services is for educational purposes only and should not be construed as legal advice.

Our educational content is based on publicly accessible sources, including but not limited to KnowVA, the Department of Veterans Affairs’ official knowledge management system. KnowVA provides up-to-date access to VA policies, procedures, handbooks, and rating schedules. Our mission is to help Veterans understand the VA process—including both pre-filing and post-filing steps—and to empower them to navigate their own journey with confidence and clarity.

You can access KnowVA directly through the VA’s website at:

https://www.knowva.ebenefits.va.gov

Additional regulatory resources—including the Code of Federal Regulations and compensation-related policy guidance—are available at:

https://www.benefits.va.gov/compensation/resources-regulations.asp

At a client’s request, VSOP may assist in locating independent medical providers and offer education on how to gather supporting documentation. However, VSOP does not prepare or submit VA claims, does not represent Veterans in any legal capacity, and does not correspond with the VA on behalf of clients. Responsibility for the preparation, submission, and management of all VA-related claims lies solely with the client.

Clients who engage with VSOP do so voluntarily and with full understanding that VSOP is not an accredited VA representative, is not a Veterans Service Organization (VSO), and is not affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs or any other government agency. Veterans seeking free assistance may locate accredited organizations through the VA at:

https://www.va.gov/vso

By engaging with VSOP’s services, clients acknowledge and agree that VSOP’s role is strictly educational and that all claim-related responsibilities remain with the client. VSOP operates independently and is not affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs or any governmental body.

Limitation of Liability

VSOP shall not be held liable for any outcomes or decisions related to a client’s VA claims or actions taken based on educational information provided.

Privacy Commitment

VSOP is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. All information shared with us is kept confidential and used exclusively to provide educational services.
